WITHDRAW from the ASFCP: if you’ve already declared your firearms, it’s not too late to withdraw. The program itself outlines how to do so.

What if someone lives deep in rural BC, or up somewhere in the territories, or on a reserve? I’d be surprised to see that photo of the police coming to a reserve to disarm the indigenous, that would set off a lot of people on the opposite side of the political spectrum
