Buy recommendations Help me splurge!!! 💸

Hey guys - it finally looks like I'll have my PAL/RPAL in hand this week based on the update on my RCMP Profile.

I've been to a store to browse around but it's pretty overwhelming especially as someone new in the hobby.

I do want to stock up on a few different types, I know I'll be in the range quite a bit and think they're just beautiful in general.

I've also been looking at a lot of the reviews here on Reddit but I'm looking to see if I could get some consolidated feedback from this community before I "pull the trigger" 😫 on these purchases. Here's what I'm considering:

1) EGE Panzer M4 Speed Pro (12GA Semi)

2) Federation Firearms GK12 Gatekeeper Pump (12GA Pump)

3) Adler Arms RF224 (11.7")

4) Derya TM22 (18 or 16") - **I've seen quite a bit of mixed reviews on these. Also not sure if I should just wait for 18" to be in stock.

5) ATI SKS w Folding Stock

6) S&W 1854 Stealth Hunter - **Not sure what caliber/ammo I should go for

One of the most common things you'll see on this sub are warnings about Turkish guns. The quality is garbage.

If you truly want to splurge, skip the first two and get a real Benelli M4 and a decent pump, like a Mossberg 590 or Benelli Supernova.

Alternatively, you can get an M2 and Maverick 88 if you don't want to spend that much. Both are incredibly capable guns that will be miles better than anything from Turkey.

Buy once, cry once.

Yeah I've definitely seen that feedback, and I've even heard the same sentiment from the stores.

On the flip side though, I've seen some reviews and posts about a few of these Turkish guns (like #3/4) or even glowing reviews about the M4 Panzer on YouTube and Reddit which is why the thought crossed my mind.

But that's a good suggestion, if I am looking to buy Turkish, I should be diversifying the collection to be less Turkish overall. Right now my list is 60ish % Turkish LOL.

If you want a semi stick to reputable companies that produce know quality products. Otherwise it’s a crapshoot if you get something function or not and if your cheap functional now gun stops working in a year or whenever from now.

It’s an easy trap to fall into especially when you’re new to it, but there is a reason so many folks will tell you the same thing, it’s good advice you should heed.

Stoeger would be as cheap as I’d recommend for a semi auto, they’re owned by the beretta group and are decent and reliable. Or get a M2, 1301 or M4 if you want something that is very good and won’t give you any trouble.
