Buy recommendations With the coming supreme court decision, I'm thinking about pistols.

Years ago, my license was up for renewal. While waiting for my renewal, my license expired. It only took 9 months, lol.

Unfortunately during that time, the OIC happened, and I missed out on all the cool pistol sales.

What with not being able to buy anything since then, I haven't really given attention to the world of new things. I understand we're on the glock Gen 6 now? Used to have a Gen 4. Loved it.

Maybe the supreme court bails us out, all this nonsense goes away and we can go shopping again. So what's new in the world of pistol? I have hope that sometime soon I'll be able to buy something, what should I be putting money aside for?

Anything a with a 10 or less capacity, I hate knowing I'm wasting space with pinned mags.

Not to be this guy but even in a dream scenario in which the Supreme Court unban our rifles, the LPC is about to get a majority and from the look of things will also get a strong one next elections. They could easily just ban them hard by legislation

They could easily just ban them hard by legislation

They could but the optics of losing against the supreme court then ramming a bill through to get back to their current standing would be pretty bad looking.

Not that optics matters to them that much when scandal after scandal slides off them.

Dude the liberals do NOT give a shit about bad optics. Liberal voters do not give a shit about the party having bad optics, im actually almost pissed youd even make a comment on that.

I am glad you cleared it up at the end, but still. To suggest the liberals at all care about bad optics noe is crazy. They charge head first into bad optics and use the news to bail them out, and the brainwashed boomer masses watch this news and dickride the liberals.

I don't believe the SCC will issue a ruling on the case for at least nine months or so, so it's quite possible the Liberals do their thing before that even happens.

Do you think the average liberal cares about optics?

Just have the CBC repeat how “this is a good thing” and your average liberal will parrot it verbatim.

The thing is that the SCC is more likely to rule against overreaching via OIC rather than the ban itself. Remember pistols were banned via legislation, which means the court could order the government to redo the rifle ban by going through Parliament the same way pistols did.
