“While we will continue to prioritize reducing violent crime, holding violent offenders accountable, and removing illegal firearms locally, the ASFCP provides a safe and responsible location for gun owners to dispose of their prohibited firearms ahead of the federal deadline,”

Such disgusting political rhetoric, lumping law abiding firearm owners in with violent crime and violent offenders.

They're only "illegal firearms" because with the stroke of a pen and a bunch of unknown votes in Montreal, the LPC made them illegal. The gun crime in Waterloo has yet to include a legal firearm as far as I'm aware.

As a police service, we have a duty to uphold the law and reduce the overall presence of illegal firearms in our community.”

The only duty I'm seeing is to Bryan Larkin and to support this political BS.
