It would be interesting to see per capita of PAL holders how many firearms are reported by province.

I'd also be interested in a headcount, instead of only counting firearms. How many people have actually gone through with a declaration? Again, comparing that to PAL holders.

Exactly this. The number of firearms doesn't interest me. I would've preferred that none were declared but here we are. I would like to know how many PAL holders did declare out of the total number of PAL holders. Such a waste of time and money, I'd care less about the budget deficit if it was actually put towards helpful things (the border perhaps?). I suppose the numbers don't really tell us anything important though because we all know that none of the declared firearms are getting turned in by criminals to help make Canada safer.

And how many firearms were restricted vs non restricted.

I bet the majority were restricted because those people have no choice

We sure do. I've got an AR lower and for the $150 I paid for it I'll gladly throw it in a woodchipper on Oct 29th instead of add to their numbers.

Except we wouldn't even get $150....

It’s gotta be much lower if they’re sticking to “number of firearms declared” versus “number of participants” especially non-businesses that had to sell/rid of useless inventory
