According to Calibre Magazine looking at Treasury Board documents,, the Liberals have apparently cut the money available for compensation in their "buyback" from $250 million to $64.8 million, with no notice to current or future participants.

We tried to to tell everyone their guns would be seized and they'd get nothing.....

No links are provided to their sources.

I think buddy doesn't know how to read year end reports. They are probably planning to spend 64.8 million for 2025-2026 year.

That's just one year.... This is a nothing burger.

Yup those are budgetary estimates for next next year. It's not the total cost of the program it's what they project will be spent for 2026-27 on the program.

Those are estimated spending authorities for the 2026 Fiscal Year, which begins on April 1st, 2026.

And the video above is not about the program's total cost. It's about the amount of available compensation being dramatically reduced from the $250M promised in January.
