Buy recommendations Cheap bolt. 22 recommendations?

Why wouldnt u just spend an extra 100$ and get a 10/22 that will last a lifetime

I've yet to see a 10/22 for 300. Most I come across are 500-600. A few 400. Right now just looking for a dirt cheap bolt action. That is a fair point on their reliability. I should probably do more research on the 10/22

Cabelas often has the super base model"carbine" blk plastic stock 10/22 for 300$ but its a sale price.

During sales (Christmas, Black Friday) you can get some good deals. I got a 10/22 with scope and case for $320 last year.
