Milsurps / Prohib M1 Garand Thoughts

I would really like to get another M1 Garand ( had one in the 90s I had to let go, for $350). I know that no one can predict the future here but what are the odds it ends up on the list?

Always a risk until we get the cons back in office

All the more reason to try and attack people from new communities into Canada’s firearm community. It’s not like anyone is moving here for idiotic restrictions.

I think we are making the same point. The more we have gun ranges and clubs that appeal to first and second generation Canadians the better. Getting PAL courses to more people is better too. A lot of people come to Canada escaping places where there is a lack of freedom and bringing back more freedom to own a firearm should appeal more people to a party like the CPC - not turn new voters away.

That's right, but thinking the cons are the answer because if false promises is ludicrous.

Newer Canadian should enjoy the gun culture benefits Canada provides, and it shouldn't be a political decider.

That's true. Some like the constrained freedom to own guns here, unlike not even being able to touch one from where they came from without smelling jail time.

Attract*.

Attack sure passes a very WRONG message to new Canadians, no?

Oh I 100% agree with you. It’s not looking good for us. But one day. One day we will be back

At the risk of getting into a worthless political debate here, with the conservatives things probably won't get any worse than they already are. With the liberals they definitely will.

No proof and previous history hasn’t shown they delivered as promised.

Who walked back the long gun registry again?
