Classic Canadian line-up:

  • A shotty
  • SKS
  • .22LR which also happens to be an AR cope
  • Mil surp/clone

I wanted to get an antique Webley mki revolver, but they are so pricey and I don't already handload, so I got the m1 instead

I went the other route and got an antique revolver. Now i want to sell it so i can get a garand lol

How does it shoot, and why the change of heart?

Its fun to shoot! (Its an 1873 MAS Revolver)

But

  1. If something breaks, parts will be hard to find or costly to recreate.

  2. Since it uses black powder i have to clean it every time i shoot it. (I also just don't think I'm able to care for the thing properly. I want it to go to a good home)

  3. I feel that if by some miracle we are able to buy handguns again the value of my revolver will go down so i feel like my money would be better spent on a Garand. (watch it get banned the day after i eventually buy one)

Thanks for the explanation. I was planning to load light loads of smokeless, as my range is indoor and doesn't allow black powder. Maybe I'll pick up a Webley next year..

Good luck with that! I heard Fiocchi makes some 455 webley ammo for the older ones but you would need to check if the one you want can take it
