Milsurps / Prohib A real Canadian *made* gun

Can't think of a better gun to show of in a sub dedicated to Canadian owned firearms and the Canadian firearms community than this.

Haven’t they been decommissioned and sent to the scrappers by the DND due to age?

Yes and due to the CF/DND policy of NOT selling surplus firearms to the civilian market. That being said, if properly maintained and unless there is a serious metallurgical structural issue a firearms like the HP can last a very, very long time.

Irony is with all the ‘elbow’s up’ and defend Canada militia talk.

One would expect the government to flood the local milita with all these surplus and stock all local armories with them
