Feets / Collection / My build 1 year of PAL

Post image

I quit buying because I thought my gun cabinet was at capacity, that and it seemed like it was becoming a problem. But after pulling them all out for a photo I realized I could probably squeeze one more into my current cabinet. I'm leaning towards a lever gun or a Turkish 5.56 semi auto. But open up to suggestions and bad financial decisions.

You had to squeeze the 3rd foot in there eh?!?

Nice stuff.

You need a precision bolt action 22. Or a pistol caliber lever action! Or both!

Personally I’d avoid Turkish 556.

PS. There’s no rule that says you have to put them in just 1 safe!

He knows my pockets are full of beef liver.

I have a 17 hmr bolt action. Bit expensive ammo wise but way more accurate imo.

Kinda torn between getting a pistol caliber lever or a 30 30 lever. Probably go with a pistol caliber since I'll hunt with the 30.06 and the 1301 for hiking/bear defense.

I almost bought an alcor today while I was at bass pro lol. Mostly cuz 5.56 is cheap now and 7.62 is getting harder to come by in bulk.

Haha yeah but if my gf sees 2 gun safes where there used to only be one she might start asking questions like "how much money have you spent on gun related stuff in the last year" and that's a question I don't want to answer.... (it's over 12k)

Lol i think the most important question here is “why are your pockets full of liver?!” Where’s the Chianti?!

On the 17. 100% agree. Those things are laser beams out to about 150!

The pistol cal levers are so much fun. Lots of ammo un the tube, relatively cheap. Accurate enough. Next to no recoil.

Fair point on the 556 vs 762.

When i got my second safe i told my girlfriend that “i had to store the ammo safely and legally!”

When i got my third and she asked why I needed 3 I took a page out of the teachings of Homer Simpson and said “I don’t wanna lie to you honey!” And walked away. We booked a trip she wanted to take the next day though…

She knows i spend allot… i put up with the shoes… she accepts the gun habits.

If your pockets aren't full of beef liver how do you expect to be the most popular guy (among dogs) on the block??

Yeah the 17 stole my heart when I was a kid. It melted so many gophers growing up lol.

And levers are just so cool. I was kinda looking at a Morrison or citadel 357 on FOC today. Both gate loading and on the cheaper side but not sure about reliability wise.

Aah so I just gotta use the old bribery route..... the most proven method to avoid uncomfortable questioning haha.

Lol very true. My dog loves me in the kitchen and has total disdain for my existence pretty much every other place.

Never prairie dogged with a 17, but i bet it’s epic. 223 id allot of fun too.

Lever reliability is pretty high in my experience. Although I haven’t shot too many cheap ones in recent years. Kinda cool how much black rail furniture is coming out for them now. I’d love to build a tactical mares leg.

The bribing works great. You already know what your lady likes I would imagine. Mine likes Yoga. So before I make a major gun purchase I get some halfmoon, lulu lemon, Bmat, and other sales lined up. When she asks questions about the gun stuff, i happen to notice a sale email on my phone. I swear i could walk in with a 105 howitzer and a half moon mat and she wouldn’t even blink.
