The bill makes important changes to Section 34 of the Criminal Code so that force is presumed to be justified if used against an illegal intruder. Conservatives first announced the ‘Stand on Guard’ principle back in August, asking the government to introduce legislation in the fall session.

Conservatives lie to get votes, they rarely follow through on promises, other people in here have made that point and got downvoted of course

Yeah those pesky conservatives promised voting reform and then ditched it. Oh wait.

I get you don't like them politically for whatever reason of your choice, but at least base your argument in fact instead of emotion.

How would voting reform benefit YOU? if anything it would hurt the conservative movement so you should be HAPPY the libs didnt act on it...

It would benefit all Canadians and allow better representation across the board. It might be a crazy concept, but I actually give a shit about policies and weigh them not just on the color of the team.

But if you're so conservatives bad locked you can't understand that, well there's no helping you there.
