Looks like our province is providing some interim protections to delay the issue, maybe hold out for a more reasonable government - as I am understanding it.

Just finished Runkle's video on the subject and was impressed by the Sask legislation.

The foundational issue in Canada is that Canada continues to be the only "developed" country on the planet which doesn't have private property rights enshrined in the constitution. Yes, we have hundreds of years worth of British and French legal precedents saying no expropriation without compensation; but with the federal government able to outlast anyone in court, that essentially leaves us without recourse.

I wonder if someone were to scan this legislation and "find and replace" the word FIREARM with LEGALLY OWNED PRIVATE PROPERTY (as defined elsewhere in the legislation presumably) if this wouldn't go a long way towards getting property rights into the constitution and still have the same impact on the OICs?
