Gun and gear reviews Pinned Wrong?

Post image

I bought 2BX-25 mags from a Canadian online supplier. Tried loading them today and they won't accept the 10th round. I reached out to Customer Service and was told "Unfortunately due to the way these magazines are pinned, many of them end up only holding 9 rounds." Isn't it more likely somebody is drilling and pinning your mags wrong"if the rivet was an 1/8" lower it would take the intended 10 rounds without issue.

Am I wrong to be peeved??

Am I allowed to move the rivet and pin it to its legal capacity?

The legal capacity of the BX-25 may be 25 if the opinion of the RCMP about it end up being wrong.

Drill the pin out, post about it on reddit, and be the hero that challenge the opinion #absolutlynotlegaladvice

edit: to be absolutely clear if #absolutlynotlegaladvice does not make it obvious enough ; the second line is satire and nobody should try this regardless of the potential legality of a non-pinned BX-25/Butler Creek 25/22. The cost and/or stress of the process is not worth it, for anybody.

I’d edit your post, goes against group rules. I know because I said something similar once and got a warning lol

I'm confident that my comments doesn't promote or suggest the breaking of Firearms laws or Criminal Code of Canada. Not enough to own one of theses (pinned or not) but I'll take my chance with moderation. And if they decide that the RCMP is a legislative body in Canada, or that my comment is low quality, well that's fine by me.

Reddit mods think they are the legislative body of the internet.

The mods here are pretty great tbh, I’ve never seen any issues. All posts are manually approved but due to the nature of the subreddit that’s probably the safer move. But I agree especially mods in Toronto, they’re fucked and high off their imaginary power
