I really like the folding stock, which usually I’m not a fan of.

I put this bad boi on mine. The laser is so fun at night. I haven’t tried the IR laser. But another fellow redditor told me you can view it through your iPhone camera. I just haven’t had a chance to try it.

I have that exact one on my panzer m4, absolutely love it.

Rip to your cheap airsoft grade lazer unit. That is NOT surviving 12ga

u/Dry-Syrup-3058 Mar 10 '26
I thought the same thing, but it’s held zero for over 400rds of full power 12ga buck and slugs in roughly 6 months with no adjustments after the initial zeroing

400 rounds in 6 months is not alot. My weekly range trip is about 200-300 slugs. This would not last me a month.

Good for you?

Lmao. Bro doesn’t even have the laser. Or used it. And thinks he’s an expert. Hey flashy. Lick my balloon knot.

Love the stock. I would absolutely love to do this with mine. Looks fantastic!
Sick mag sleeve also! Love to see it out and about in the community. I should have 25 round versions available shortly.
Also how does that rear MBUS operate?? Lol

u/Dry-Syrup-3058 Mar 10 '26
Thanks man, looking forward to seeing those 25rd mags. As you noticed, unfortunately the rear sight doesn’t have quite enough room to fully open, even with the scope mounted as far forward as possible, but the LPVO has etched glass so the “backup” irons are just for looks lol.

u/looloopklopm Mar 10 '26
How's using the scope? You could probably move it back seeing as the sight won't open anyways! I also have "just for looks" sights on mine, but had to put the rear one in front of my rds because of the magnifier.

Using the scope is fine but because the stock doesn’t have an adjustable LOP and I’m a bigger guy the scope can’t be too much further back or it messes the eye box/ eye relief for me.

Which mag covers are those? Do you have the link to the print?

What is the barrel length?
2
u/Dry-Syrup-3058 Mar 10 '26
Standard 18.5”

u/DanDrav Mar 10 '26
What’s the overall length when folded?
5
u/Dry-Syrup-3058 Mar 10 '26
Over 26” lol

u/DanDrav Mar 10 '26
I’ve been wanting to make this set up with the 16” barrel version. Do you think it’s possible to make it 26” total, maybe adding some length where the folding stock connects to the receiver?
1
u/Dry-Syrup-3058 Mar 10 '26
I’d say probably not via the stock because, when folded, my build comes to 26-1/4”. I’ve heard that muzzle breaks count towards barrel length though so if you threw something like a surefire 3 prong flash hider on it (2-1/2”) that’d probably be enough to hit the 26” minimum with a 16” barrel. That being said I’m definitely not the person you want to be coming to for legal advice.

I’ve heard that muzzle breaks count towards barrel length
Muzzle breaks do NOT contribute towards barrel length.
Muzzle breaks DO contribute to overall length.2

Is it close when folded??
10.5" barrel on an AR with a standard buffer/stock is a ball hair over 26"

I now have an 18” barrel TM-22 and I’m wondering if the “Strike AR Picatinny Stock Adapter” and things like it can work with a TM-22. I see you have something very similar installed. How was the installation? You had to get a mil spec end plate right?
1
u/Dry-Syrup-3058 Mar 12 '26
No I initially just installed it directly onto the rifle. The aluminum adapter threads are slightly too small and short for the tm22 though and I was worried about stripping them so I 3d printed a copy slightly larger that fits perfectly. Next range session I’ll shoot a couple 1000rds and see if it holds up.

That looks really good!

Thank you!

I would recommend u switch the charging handle get the Alex’s Homebrew AR charging handle kit
1
u/elo_itr Mar 10 '26
where did you get the buffer to pict rail adapter?
2
u/Dry-Syrup-3058 Mar 10 '26
I had initially designed one via 3d printing but when I bought the folding stock it came with an aluminum adapter so I switched to that
1
u/elo_itr Mar 10 '26
okay, thanks. I did find one on makerworld but don't know how durable it is.
2
u/Dry-Syrup-3058 Mar 10 '26
I think it’d be fine for a .22lr as long as you’re not abusing it lol. Print material would make a big difference. The one I made with PETG seemed like it would’ve worked but I never tested it so I can’t say for certain.

does the stock come with the adapter or where can a guy find the adapter? this looks amazing
1
u/Dry-Syrup-3058 Apr 17 '26
Hey thanks man! I bought mine second hand off gunpost but the guy I got it from said it came with the aluminum adapter when he bought it. Just a heads up though, the adapter works but it’s a little bit smaller in diameter than it should be for the TM22. I didn’t want to risk damaging it so I ended up going online and slightly altering a basic buffer tube to 1913 adapter, printed it in PETG-CF, and I haven’t had any issues with it. If you don’t wanna wait for one to show up on the used market, RDSC has them in stock but they’re selling for $400 new.

So cool dude, people keep telling me to get the 10/22 and to customize that, but anytime I see a cool ass TM22 like yours, I shift toward that.
Does it shoot smoothly?
