Beautiful. They're very sexy rifles in all honesty. MRA is a great company too, one of the few Canadian companies that builds genuinely good rifles and offers good customer support. Glad they're still in business and doing well with the Renegade.

I would not say the rifles are genuinely good.

The upper and lower fitment is terrible. They do have a set screw to adjust the tension, but then you can't take the lower off because you can't put the rear takedown pin back in because they are not chamfered. The detent holes for the takedown pins are also drilled too deep causing the pins to get stuck, and the holes themselves for the pins are way oversized.

The pins that are used on the charging handle are too tight of a fit, and get so stuck that it's almost impossible to get them out with vice grips. The company recommends that you drill your bolt carrier to make the holes bigger instead of just sending properly sized pins with enough clearance. (you can't take the bolt carrier out of the rifle or put it in while the pins are stuck.)

The safety selector can pass fire and safe due to the detent holes not being deep enough.

The bolt release slot is also way to large and out of spec for an ar15 bolt catch.

And the stroke of the rifle bottoms out on the charging handle and not the bolt carrier, making the issue of the stuck pins worse with each charge of the gun.

A $500 AR15 is built better than these, and it's 1/3 the price.

If you cant pull the pin, that grub screw is too tight. It just needs to be barely touching.

If the set screw is barely touching, then it does nothing. The slop is so bad at the front takedown pin that the rear set screw has to be very tight to even do anything. If you take out the pins and add a large chamfer, they can go back in, but for $1500 thats something you shouldn't have to do, and I've experenced it on 2 different mra rifles.
