I haven’t gotten mine to cycle more than 1 or two rounds of that exact federal. It will only run CCI and I’ve put like 2k rounds through it. Hopfully you have a 10/22 because I’m almost certain that 224 will not work with it.

I've honestly had good luck with that federal, I really think these guns just are picky based on the specific rifle, mine eats the federal well though through 500rds, one light strike, and one failure to feed/eject or whatever from some super cheap 22 ammo from i cant even remember what brand my buddy brought out. Ive ran only federal through though and its been good

Oh wow I didn’t realize they were all so different, I have only had success with CCI Blazer.
