News / Politics / Activism Recurring Canadaguns Politics and Debate Thread

Please post all your Gun Politics or Ban-related ideas, questions, initiatives, comments, suggestions, news articles, and recommendations in this thread. This thread recurs every 14 days.

First and foremost, this is a Canadian Gun subreddit, so keep it at least decently related to both of those things.

This thread is not for general politics, there are plenty other subs that are meant for that. Off-topic threads may be removed, especially if they are leading to personal attacks, flame wars, etc.

To prevent the main sub being flooded with dozens of similar threads, text posts complaining about/asking about/chatting about gun politics will be sent here.

We understand that politics is a touchy subject, and at times things can get heated. A reminder of the subreddit rules, when commenting, where subreddit users are expected to abide.

Keep this Canadian gun politics related and polite. Off-topic stuff, flame wars, negative generalizations against groups, personal attacks and gate-keeping will be removed. Please flag any comments to bring to the attention of mods otherwise exercise your upvoting and downvoting ability.

Liberal will likely get the majority they want after the three by elections. I am wondering what will happen to us. They will pass some bills against us? Forced buy back? Anything worse for us?

Not sure why everyone thinks once libtards go majority all of a sudden logistics change.

There is a critical critical critical police shortage that no police force can advertise right now, on top of that Canada is effectively bankrupt and simply printing money.

If they get a majority, the police forces don’t magically go “we must obey our new masters” and then dedicate precious officers to a boondoggle they publicly denounced.

There is now weekly synagogue shootings in Toronto and TPS said they can’t even have officers posted because of how short they are.

Going after law abiding citizens is simply not in their capacity and never will. Libtard majority or not, you can just magically produce a police force that’s going to fight for you. Remember Trudy effectively had 2 majorities during his reign of terror. Carney is staffed by 80% Trudy appointees, they’ll just fall flat on their faces as they always do.

I think you are giving libtards too much credit. What they did with trucker strike is how they will deal with anyone in their crosshairs. Freezing bank account just for donating money is some very draconian shit. If cops are ordered to, they have to obey lawful orders.

The way liberals are throwing money at boondoggle shits, they can go after good citizens at the expense keeping of law and order.

I don't know what will happen, but expect very least pals being revoked and even single shot rifle becomes an illegal possession. I hope i am wrong.
