They’re common in the US, but since it’s illegal to carry for self defence here they’re not allowed (along with probably a dozen other specific restrictions on handguns)

These are deadass not “common” in USA, it’s a novelty gun that’s works better then zip gun, but is still ass. I would rather buy the folding glock
