Looks cute, I'm not sure I'd want to "assault" anything with it though.

This was likely a legally purchased gun at some point, and has a transfer number tied to the serial. So if the guy busted wasn't a licensed holder, they will atleast find the idiot that sold it to them. Sux cuz I just ordered the adler sbr that i may never get to use ( which was shipped a thousand miles away from it's destination, thanks canada post you do such a great job, cough cough).

Transfer #s aren't actually associated with the serial #s of guns, and if the gun was purchased privately, there's not really an easy way to trace that gun back to a legal owner.

Non-Restricted Firearms (Rifles and Shotguns):

The Store's Records: Under Bill C-71, retailers are legally required to keep a record of the transfer reference number and the firearm's serial number, make, and model for at least 20 years. Back door gun registry, they can look up the serial ifs its not striped off. It will be tied to a transfer number issued by the rcmp and the pal holder and the store that initiated the transfer. It's not a gun registry "per say" but anything sold after 2024 they know where to find it.
