Application / Regulation advice If push comes to shove - destruction question

I have absolutely no intention of forfeiting my working AR15 to the state.

That being said, if it comes down to the wire and they start leaning on us even harder as October 30 approaches, are they expecting to steal intact, working rifles?

Because I have a chop saw, and will cut my rifle into pieces and bring the scraps in a bag to the cop shop. Because fuck ’em is why.

Being the dickhead statists they are, you would probably have to make sure that the scraps have a “trigger lock” and are enclosed in a locked hard sided container.

Any thoughts?

Tbh, no risk is worth a possible 10 years in jail.

10 years of life, over a piece of metal ? Screw that.

I’ll hold on alongside everyone else. When October of this year comes along, i’ll probably just get my shit deactivated.

I’m not as invested as a good chunk of you guys who’ve been licensed owners since the 90’s.

Yep. Going to prison for an indictable offence is a easy way to ruin your life.

Idk why I’m being downvoted.

I’ll hold the lines but if I’m really to get arrested & serve time. I’m waving that white flag 🏳️.

The government has clearly shown it lacks no mercy for law abiding citizens. It’ll give lee way too international students who commit crime over actual Canadians who aren’t committing crimes at all

Some people are down voting anything that doesn't suggest non-compliance right now. I doubt most are actually willing to go to prison over this if push comes to shove. It sucks, but it's not worth ruining your life over.

Which is ridiculous.

The lawyers fees themselves aren’t worth the hassle.

Let’s say $7K on a lawyer to fight the stupid charges…

$7K alone can pay off my student loans, That could take me across the globe for a month on a work sabbatical.

I’m non compliant until it’s genuine jail.

My family have been in Canada since the 1700’s. I love this country, snow ball fights, some classic maple syrup, some delicious corn from the Reesor farm.

But Fck off with jail & that Dirt bag of a witch compelling Gary & the Libs to criminalize me. They all can joke on a fat one.
