Sterling arms and Shooting Edge

With the news of The Shooting Edge closing doors, does anyone have any information or knowledge as to how this affect Sterling Arms operation in the future. Specifically the release of the r18 mk3 as well as replacement parts for the r18 mk2?

Was there a connection between sterling arms and shooting edge because my gunsmith mentioned that Sterling declared bankruptcy this week.
