I just did my restricted and non restricted course and i am waiting for the paperwork to show up saying I completed the safety course. Can I apply online for my R PAL if I don't have the paperwork on hand yet?

Wasn’t the report given to you right after you passed the exam? BC applicant here, I took the exam immediately after the class and the report was issued to me in just a minute.

Back to your question. If you don’t have the report on hand right now, then no, you can’t apply it online because you still need to upload a copy of your report.

But you can start the application anyway cuz the document uploading stage is at the very end and there are some other documents you need to make copies of like your DL, passports, etc. You can get the rest of your application done in advance and when your report arrives, just copy and upload your report and you’ll be all set.

Didn’t know about this extra step in ON lol. My instructor was also the examiner so he marked and signed the report in front of me and it all took less than 3min.

My instructors did the test too and everything. They had to mail it out first. Quite the process
