I’ve been waiting for over a month for my registration on my now-restricted WK180 and everytime I call I gotta walk these people through what I’m even doing as if they’ve never encountered a change of classification before. I’d like to take this thing to the range to make sure it functions properly and I’m wondering what the law says about transporting it as a NR (still have the original upper/barrel) and assembling the restricted upper at the range and tearing it apart to take it home. Sounds sketch but if that’s illegal i obviously won’t do it but I really want to function test this thing. Tips?

It's illegal. Don't do that.

Yea I felt like that had to be. And yes he did and CFP sent it to Alberta CFO soon after they got it and it’s been sitting there ever since with no progress. Every time I call they say theyll add a note to the file saying I called but it never does anything. At this rate my wk will get prohib and then it’ll get registered right after. I’m understanding why no one does this it’s way too painful
