If you are going for your RPAL It opens up selection of available fire arms

What are the limitations? Ex : let's say I want to buy a SPAS12 shotgun and a AK-47

You can get restricted with the Rpal. Short barreled semi auto rifles, handguns if they weren't already banned.

The ak47 is prohibited so you can't get one. You can look up on armalytics to see if things are NR, R, P.

Get both. It’s an extra class and test and it’s 100% worth it. You won’t regret getting one for sure. Also like the other person said ak47 and many of the cooler guns are prohibited. Closest thing you can get to an ak47 is probably a t81

Spas12 and AK are both prohibited firearms.

Get the Rpal though, it's worth it.

r is for restricted, not prohibited
handguns if there is a change in government

Worth getting it . Still lot of cool restricted and more firearms may get moved into that class over time.

As someone who has a restricted (but no restricted firearms) wouldn’t get it now with the limited library to choose from. Should certain recent events be reversed I would be more inclined to getting it again but I’m not holding my breath
