just got my licence and my friend selling me his Russian SKS with ati tactical stock and wood I trust this guy and he say’s everything good condition and is offering for 800$ is that a good price ?

$800 is not a good price.

I would argue that sks rifles are better with orignal wood stocks and magazines from a functionality standpoint, but even with the addition of the tactical stock it shouldn't touch $800. Might be close to $800 for a brand new one

Also check the internals for rust. How do you know he cleaned it right away after taking it to the range with corrosive surplus ammo. Could be pitted to hell for all you know
