Looking for recommendations on a lightweight 7 RemMag/7mm PRC "mountain" rifle. Hoping to keep the rifle, rings, scope well under 8.5 lbs. The light the better.

Deer and Moose hunting in Northern Ontario.

Elk/Sheep/Goat hunting in Alberta. Id like to be able to make a killshot out to 600m on the extreme end and ring steel at 1000 but this will primarily be used as a lightweight hunting rifle.
