What should I do to get my PAL quicker?

It’s been months since my application was received, CC charged.

Some people suggested emailing the CFO (Ontario), I did, and I was told to expect to wait 6 months! Would calling them every other week help? Or should I contact my liberal MP (probably won’t answer my email) or maybe try contacting the ombudsman? If you’ve tried any of the above, what was your experience like?

Thank you!

I’m in the same boat. Spoke with CFO on the phone and they were super unhelpful. She claimed there was a minimum 6 month wait for new apps. Had a buddy submit online First week of March and approved first week of April.

MP won't answer the email they don't receive.

Just don't expect help from pamdamoff

If they tell you six months and you call every week all your gonna be doing is making a ton of phone calls. You might even get flagged on an otherwise clean application because now it looks suspicious that someone is trying to jump the queue as it were.

Just be patient. Easiest and best thing you need to do.

Unless you have access to the time stone I’d settle in. Took mine 9 months to come, granted I had a discrepancy and had to re-submit after 3 months.
