Does a handgun optics mount exist where the mount utilizes the rear sight dovetail?

I was planning to get my hi power milled, but wanted to find a spare slide to do it to and those are tricky to find/expensive as hell

There are piles of them yes. Figure out the size of your dovetail with some calipers and order one up.

Mate just literally google "dovetail red dot mount". Find one that fits your cutout. It's a chunk of metal, brand means nothing. Buy whatever one fits your dot and your slide.

Do you know where I could find a spare hi power slide? I don't want to get the original one milled
