This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

I know most people are hush on this but….. decent crown spots to shoot at in Ontario?

Have you tried using the iHunter App?

The short answer is north of Bracebridge.

You can search crown land and parcels of land that allow hunting, that's usually a good place to start your search.

There may be further restrictions on target shooting from a municipal level but generally you can target shoot in areas where hunting is allowed.
