I hope so. I still don't even have a single damn gun because of how long it takes for a simple process of checking if someone's a criminal and/or a crazy takes (this is obviously this way on purpose to make sure less people have guns or have interest in acquiring them), and the more they push for banning guns and disarming people is the more I wonder if they know something we don't. Also sucks that I might not be able to enjoy basic things like semi-automatic rifles (or even anything better than a fucking flintlock muzzleloader at this point) by the time I actually get a PAL.
The Conservatives where I lived before didn't give a fuck about anyone but themselves and never kept a promise. I know this doesn't appear to be the case for Canada but I do hope they keep to their word and revert these bullshit changes and the inevitable semi-auto ban that will probably get implemented before they get elected.
