SECU Meeting next Tuesday to discuss the removal of G-46 and G-4, and will likely attempt to reintroduce them.

Edit: I do understand the reason the amendments were removed but the Liberals stated that they will either reintroduce them or make them their own bill after "getting it right"

They tell white lies and exaggerate the truth. It’s by design. It’s to get more people upset about what’s going on because we need everyone on the same page here. It’s meant to get otherwise unmotivated fudds fired up because they need to understand that the “fuck you got mine” thing isn’t going to make things better. The liberal government doesn’t like Johnny hunter with his clapped out Lee Enfield anymore than they like Mikey sport shooter with his AR-15.

We need everyone across all spectrums engaged in this. Not just small pockets of affected owners getting slowly picked off while everyone else who’s currently unaffected sleeps in the back with their bass pro shop hats pulled low across their face. There needs to be a groundswell.

Misinformation is the bane of our political discourse, but the government engages in it all the time. Just look at what happened. You have to fight fire with fire sometimes.

The CCFR is our only chance of a lobby group that will carry any weight.

The liberals directly said that they would try to 'get it right' and would not be abandoning their attempt to ban 'assault weapons'. We're absolutely either going to see an OIC, another bill, or an amendment to this one. Some people have hope that they won't attempt another rifle ban in C21 because it'll be ruled 'out of scope' but you can never be certain with the liberals.
