Authorisation to Transport hasn't arrived yet. Can I still go to the range?

Eleven days ago I called the BC CFO office, a nice lady answered right away, told me she'd transfer the handgun "right now" and send me a new R-PAL that has Authorization to Transport built in somehow (I guess it's written on the new card?).

I got the gun a few days afterwards, but no new R-PAL with Authorization to Transfer.

Do I need to have the new card in hand to go to the range, or is it good enough to say "they told me they were sending it" if anything were to happen?

The Authorization to Transfer exists somewhere... I just don't have it.

Go for it. Let us know what happens when you get caught with a handgun and no updated RPAL/Paperwork.

Is it really worth the risk instead of waiting another week to get the appropriate paperwork?

WTF are you talking about? There's zero risk because I have come to the NEWBIE section of this sub and asked a question. I'll act appropriately based on the answer I find.

And your immediate reaction is to encourage me to do it so that I can get in trouble with the law instead of just answering the question (IN A NEWBIE SECTION NO LESS). What a fucking asshole.
