Ok got you. My licensed already says that on the back. But it was mentioned that once you buy your first restricted gun you get a new card? πŸ€” Also I got my Rpal and pal at the same time. Then I bought a handgun and the transfer took 6 months. I got a pdf Transfer Notification Buyer from the cfo. Do I keep this document with me at all times. And also what about the paper which came with firarms license envelope. Do I need that with me as well? I just want to hit the range with my newly acquired M&P 2.0. How long does ATT take to get approved? Requested one this morning to hit the range for 4pm.

That used to be the procedure, I guess they changed that because it was stupid and wasteful. But you say they printed two cards anyways, so...

The paper (I got) said cut it out and carry.

OK got you my friend I got the same paper. Now please explain how this ATT works. Do they approve them fast. I want go-to the range for 4pm I booked my both. I put the request in for ATT at roughly 1030am. Do they approve on weekends? I filled out all the requirements and my application is pending. What do you think πŸ€”

ATT is an automatic part of your license as long as you have your rPAL card, Conditions Slip, and Firearm Registration Certificate.

I keep a copy of all registrations in the range bag.

I just realized that MY conditions allow me the old transport restrictions, gun show, gunsmith, range...
They never sent me an update to nullify those conditions.

Huh.

That's pretty cool. So for me to go the range with my handgun being a new license holder. Don't I have to apply online for an ATT and wait for their approval?

Correct, just all the paperwork which is automatic but slow to arrive.

Yeah, I figured this much. I doubt my ATT will be approved by the time I'm ready to go to the range this evening. I was told I should apply for it a week in advance. Oh well, I can at least bring my non restricted and have a good time. πŸ‘πŸ½ Thank you so much for all your advice my friend.

You don't need an ATT, that is an automatic condition on your license!

Read your paperwork!

I am so confused. Please let's start from the top. Got my RPaL last year. Bought my first and only handgun in August. The transfer was approved a few days ago. My handgun came in the mail, and I absolutely love it. It's better than I expected. Now I want to go to the range which I've been a member of since September 2022. I've gone to this countless times with my non restricted rifles. I want to now bring my handgun today and take my first shots and give you gentlemen an overall first shots review of the smith and wesson M&P 2.0. Please tell me the legal process in getting my handgun from my home to the range and back to my home in time for waffles and sauges. Thank you in advance ☺️

I spoke to my range and it's everything you confirmed correct. I have to wait for my registration certificate to arrive and my new R pal. Thank you again mate πŸ‘πŸ½
