This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.
In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Probably a silly question but do I just need the firearms safety course completed to send off for my PAL? Does anyone have an idea how long it would take from now as someone that just completed their safety courses to eventually get my RPAL? I assume 3 years at the speed the government processes stuff lol.
