Random question because I'm too lazy to look: When restricted guns are in storage, do they need to be double-locked like during transport? Ie: are they supposed to have a trigger lock on them when in the safe?

Edit: I got my RPAL a decade ago and only had non-resreicted hunting rifles until very recently. Sorry the knowledge wasn't fresh.

Actual legit safe, no, any other container yes

I don’t believe so for restricteds no. I honestly don’t remember if it’s how the law is written or if it was a legal precedent set down in court but that’s what I have understood.
