Say my address is A on my pal, and I store my NR and R guns there with my parent (they don’t have pal). I go off to university and live in a dome (can’t bring guns with me) and I don’t change the address on my license.

Is doing this legal?

The dome should be fun :)

If the firearms are stored according to the regulations and unlicensed individuals do not have access (ie you have all the keys), then it's really no different than you going on a long vacation. Your legal address is not changing.

Apparently I can’t spell…

Also just a follow up, say I store my guns in a safe without trigger locks, do I need to bolt down the safe?

There is nothing in the law about bolting a safe down or the mobility of a safe. I follow the legal precisely set in R v Barns, which should be in the FAQ of this sub Reddit under something about a safe.
