This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In celebration of the small C21 victory, I have bought a crate of 7.62x39 and an SKS. I'm new to having my PAL and was curious where it's legal & safe to go shooting around the Calgary area?

You can shoot on most Crown land, so find an area close to the city and head out there.
