Really good and spending a fortune are unfortunately synonymous. 911 Supply and SRS Tactical have decent stuff, both of which are located in Alberta.

I've gotten a lot of stuff, including my PC, belt, and IFAK, from SDTac. Lots of good stuff and fast shipping.

Not looking to spend a fortune on anything

Be prepared to put together a setup slowly over time. Cheap stuff is available, but it's cheap for a reason. You've gotta ask yourself if this kind of gear is really what you want to cheap out on. If you needed it, and it didn't work because it sucked, that would be bad.
