My friend just submitted a online license application, and I'm his reference. I just received a RCMP email to confirm reference. However, a security code is needed to complete it with his application number. But both of us have no idea what security code is. Anyone know more about this new online thing? Thank you

I had a little problem with that myself.. He just has to follow the link, login with his bank account if he doesn't have a "MYCFP" account (that verifies him instantly) and follow instructions. He will need your application number and if I recall correctly, a password created for the applications respondents (not the same as your account password.)

Who would he need my application number? I only need his reference number and a security code that we have no idea what it is.

Sorry, I read backwards.. For some reason I read that he was YOUR reference and not the other way around. Graveyard shift 🤷‍♂️

The application number was entered in one of the fields ... I can't remember what else was required but I'm fairly certain I did create a password to give out to the guarantor and references along with the application number
