5 months later, finally got my transfer! CZ SP-01 shadow. Now I just wait for it to be banned 🙃 question though, for those others who’ve waited so long for a transfer, how long was your wait for the registration? Has that changed at all or is it still typical 2-3 weeks? I’m in BC.

you mean, the transfer? Or getting the yellow reg certificate after transfer is approved?

The transfer itself. I ordered July 15, still waiting. CGN estimates I'll get the notif around Dec 5 with their spreadsheet. My 1911 I ordered in March took until the end of June to transfer. That's all with retailers too, not even P2P

He's asking about the registration slip that comes in the mail after the transfer is approved.

It typically takes two weeks.

For transfer of registration? My question was more about the registration wait times to see if those had differed at all.

My registration paperwork came about 2-3 weeks after the email that the transfer had been approved

The cert for all have mine have been two weeks almost to the day.

Reg still seemed pretty normal at around 2 weeks or less.

yeah, about the same for me recently. I've heard after it's approved - the mailout is pretty much automatic, no additional processing.

I'm in BC.

Bought September 25, transfer approved November 23. So 2 months? I also called in to the BC CFO a couple weeks ago to ask about the transfer, so that may have helped. Now I'm just waiting on shipping from Ontario...

Alberta here:

I didn't have time to call the CFO for a "quicker" approval since I'm busy at work Mon-Fri during the day. So with the standard normie wait it was around 4 months:

I bought July 11. Got my transfer approved Nov 7th (email notification). After that waited approx 2.5 weeks to get the registration/green sheet in the mail.

Congrats, for my first restricted, the registration arrived a week after approval. My subsequent restricted all took approximately 2 weeks, also in BC.

Mine took 2 months, I also called them and said hey what's up why has it been 2 months and they did it on the spot. Edit: also BC

I bought the Exact gun on June 28th. Just got the transfer Monday. Ran a few rounds through it the same day and she’s a beaut!!! Good pick!! (I’m in Ontario)
