Tried calling the BC CFO today (a few times)to report my missing RPAL…
The system is broken when you can’t even get through for a lost or stolen card. Reported to the local non emergency line, and was told to email the CFO. Should I keep trying to phone as well?

The system is completely broken.
The Liberals have continually added to the work burden for the individual, shop and CFP sometimes enormously with no care about the consequences.
Removing ATT rights for example for taking your gun to a shop for repair, it achieved nothing but enormously increased the workload.
This is not an avocation or justification but the fact is that if you create a system that does not work and try to force people through it and then they can't they have to go around it. That doesn't help anyone.

It normally takes we around 25 times to get on hold. I find that the best hours to call are between 11-2. The wait is around 10-30 mins each time I’ve tried.

In BC? Because I agree with OP. I tried calling about 30 times today and had calls get dropped in que, get disconnected right away and even had a busy signal instantaneously.
System is definitely broken.

Yeah I’m BC, it’s a bit ridiculous how their system works. Like what happens in an emergency (no a 911 one)

I tried yesterday, got through 4 times and after about 3-10 minutes of waiting the calls were all dropped. I swear they were just picking up the phone and hanging up.

If you send an e-mail you will at least have a paper trail you can legally cite in any event that someone gives you a hard time.

Send them an email and maybe want to write your MP about it too.

I did my due diligence I hope, and emailed this morning. I think writing my MP may be a project for tomorrow. Good call.

Found it… wife had me cleaning horseshoes for a project. Grinder is a little off balance and it walked off into the dark. Was looking for earplugs and found it 🤪😎

Isn’t it ironic that Liberal gun control measures are what’s preventing guns from being properly, sensibly and effectively controlled?
Either Trudeau and Mendicino are dumb AF, or they really only care about getting votes instead of public safety. I think we know the answer to that.
