Did you: 1. log into RCMP IWS to check status of your app?

  1. Did you pay by CC and was it charged?

Do #1, if you are not able to see the status of your app on IWS, I would suggest you call CFP and inquire about it.

I have called about 100 times in the last 3 months. Can’t get through to anyone. Also checked status online. It says they have reviewed it and will contact me if any info is missing (same status for months)

Did you call CFP or CFO ON? You won’t get through CFO ON unless you call at 7am and wait 2 hours until office is open.

Call CFP and inquire about if there is any missing or incorrect info, and politely ask if they know where the application is at in terms of progress, CFP is pretty good at letting you know. If it is at CFO ON and you haven’t heard anything, then contact your MP or MPP and get something going.

They don’t give a fuuuuuukk, ive been waiting since Feb 😂

I’ve even called a couple times to make sure everything is good… which I’ve been told A-ok… just to wait another 4 months with no progress. Idk how people are “calling and get approved the next day” but it hasn’t worked for me

Time to call up your MP or MPP and light a fire. Email your MP or MPP office, then follow up with a phone call.

Okay I will try that, thank you. Currently on call #37 of trying to get through to CFO-ON 😂

My MP is a liberal, fat chance they’ll give this situation the time of day

Yeah same here all the way to them saying "everything is great!" Waiting since December. Contacting CFO has done nothing and contacting my representatives has done nothing. Apparently the Alberta CFO is quoting as high as 18 months

Wow, just got off phone since calling from 9am (130 now) and they told me if I don’t hear back by January then to call them so they can “assign it to an officer”

Oof since Feb? I sent mine on February 11 and received my card on June 8th

Wow! You are one lucky ducky it sounds like… just spent 5 hrs on the phone to get told “Wait till January before you call back, life-long background check takes a long time”

Yessir, but my people(s) history with RCMP isn’t the greatest… which makes me kind of speculate

Manitoba here. My credit card got charged in June. Sent application in march. Still says completed initial review. I got a friend sent his last year November. Still waiting. It’s hit a miss I know some people on this sub who sent there pal application like 2 months after mine and they have their card already 🤷🏼‍♂️
