So I my pal was approved over the phone last week and I'm just waiting for it to show up in the mail. I asked her for my pal number but she wouldn't give it to me. What are you guys asking for when you call to ask for your pal #? I asked for it so I could join a range. She said they'll call and confirm when i try to join so I don't need it.

Call CFP. If someone won’t give you the license #, thank them, hang up, call again and get someone else.

Do whatever you have to get your license and get a hand gun before the freeze.

No handguns for me unfortunately, I only got my pal. I prefer long range anyway. But the rifle I want is hard to come by these days and 3 of them just came back in stock. So I'd like to order it before they're gone.

Weird. Does it currently say approved in the portal? I wonder if it was “approved” over the phone but they still needed to do stuff in the backend so no number.

Yeah it switched to approved immediately.
