How long did some of you wait for your first restricted transfers pre insanity?

Wait times for transfers to be approved pre-June? In Ontario...4-6 weeks maximum. 3 weeks is what I recall. Now it's 4-6 months.

NS was on 24 hour turnaround prior to the craze 👏👏 They're still killing it though honestly.

Each province is different. In Alberta, if you called, it was immediate. Often without calling it was 1h.

My dad bought a Glock last year in AB and his transfer was approved in less than 12 hours.

My very first a few years ago took 3 months. But that was in part because my license expired a moth after I bought it and the CFO was late issuing me my new one so I could not pick the gun up until I had my new valid license.

But the ones after that were between 3 days and 3 weeks.

Pre covid, mine in BC typically took 1-3 days. I tried to do one recently. Called 50 times and never got through. Sent physical papers for the transfer that were delivered on August 4th. Two months ago today. I haven't heard anything from them yet. System is broken.
