In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

I don't have the link on me but it's apparently written in the legislation that transfers in progress once the bill is enacted will go through.

Thanks! That's good news.

Hopefully they keep dragging their feet or quietly give up on it with the looming election.

Such an idiotic thing to do ... this probably dumped 10 years worth of handguns into circulation. But then again, this was never about actual policy or protecting the public, just political posturing.

How about if you mail in a transfer document... do you imagine them to go by the date on the forms? Or forms processed and already in queue for review?
