Anyone run a .22 lever gat? I really want a lever but 45-70 and .357 aren't really conducive to weekend warrior pop can shooting due to price and availability.

I think it would be fun to build a modern (aka black plastic) stubby lever action with pic rails and all that jazz.

Maybe one day I can justify a nice wooden Henry/Marlin in .357 or 45-70

I've seen a few of them but I think the last one was 357, just curious how the .22s run.

ive heard henry 22s are great. probably barely feel the recoil

Almost zero with the octagonal barrel, that thing is heavy for a 22.
