Weekly Newbies & FAQ Thread - Post your questions here for PAL/RPAL application, timelines, CFSC/CFSRC, references & requirements, or general new to firearms ownership -type questions

This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Nah your good, as long as you have your pal you can buy as much as you want regardless of when you got it. If not in Ontario just make sure you have a membership to a range, if in Ontario it doesn't matter then.

Just be prepared for the loooooooooong ass wait times for transfers currently. I have 4 in the pipes currently going on 4 weeks for the oldest one.

Edit: also forgot to mention, be ready for the transfer to take an extra while being your first restricted also. Your first restricted transfer usually takes a bit longer than anything after thay, but ymmv, maybe it's better than when I first got my rpal/restricted.

Thanks! Placed a second order once I saw the stock count plummet every time I refreshed the site.
