got my PAL & RPAL, and ready to buy a rifle. Any case you guys can recommend for storage at home and transport? I live in an apartment, so I didn't want to get a gun safe (not planning on getting restricted any time soon)

Cases that you would generally transport them in(soft or some cheaper hard cases) would likely collect moisture and potentially ruin your gun. If you absolutely don’t want to get even a stack on cabinet style “safe” then I would recommend a really good case like a Nanuk and make sure to put in a few desiccant dehumidifiers.

I'm actually looking at cabinets - wasn't sure if they met the definition of safe, but looks like it does. Looking at the Yukon gear ones - any idea if they're decent? Thank you!

Sorry not sure about those ones. I had a stack on 18gun and just about anything has to be better than that so… lol

ah no worries. I can't seem to find any stack ons for a reasonable price, so hopefully the Yukon Gear is of ok quality lol. Thank you!

They're pretty shit. But not more than all the other cabinets. They're good enough to meet the intent of the law.

Cantire sells a nondescript plano rectangular rifle case, could be anything inside. About $30.
