Can someone recommend a good compact pistol? I ordered a Glock 17 Gen 3 and I want something else to go with it. If I plan to only own 2 pistols, is it bad to grab a Glock 19 or 48 as my second?

Other compact I looked at are the S&W M&P9 2.0 compact, Sig P365, Sig P320 compact, CZ P10 C.

After reading many review, it seems Glock 19 is everyones favorite, even better if you can get Glock 19x. If 19 is not available, 48 has ton of nice reviews too.

I know, the only issue is the base plate. Lots of vendor like Bullseye North still sell extra mags for 19x and G17 Gen 4 mags so those should work.

Definitely beat changing out individual baseplates.

Haha, you need to have a coyote Tan or FDE in the collection.
